When jihadists from the Islamic State organisation swept into northern Iraq, the French government pledged to facilitate asylum for Iraqi Christians who had fled their homes in fear of their lives. Now, that policy is being put into practice. The first Iraqi refugees have arrived in France, where they will be housed in a suburb of Paris. Our reporters went to meet them.
