Ed Young is a pastor who wants his flock to start thinking about God in the same way they do about drones – as being omnipotent and omnipresent.

In three recent sermons given at the Fellowship Church in Texas, Young has established that he feels God is much like a drone in that the deity is a far-reaching surveillance system.

The difference between the two is that God is much more intense than unmanned military equipment.

Said Young, “They see things we never thought possible. And we're gonna go, 'wow, I kind of feel weird about that. I don't know about the privacy issues.' Well, God makes a drone seem like a drone doesn't know a thing. There's no such thing in God's economy as a clandestine meeting. There's no such thing as a closed office door, bedroom door, front door, or back door.”

For emphasis he gave the sermon in front of what looks like a fake U.S. Air Force Predator drone and called attention to another drone flying above the crowd of churchgoers pointing out that it was recording them.

It was later revealed that the drone flying overhead wasn’t real, but rather a camera attached to a wired robotic apparatus.
