The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday issued an order to clear Constitution Avenue of marchers ensuring free movement on the road.
The apex court directed the Attorney General (AG) and counsels for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to deliberate upon the issue and sort it out by today (Tuesday).
A five-member larger bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk, resumed hearing into the identical petitions filed by Lahore High Court Bar Association Multan Bench President Syed Tahir Shah Bukhari praying for restraining the PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri from taking out illegal processions and trespassing of prohibited zones, including the Constitution Avenue.
