Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has invited former President Asif Ali Zardari for a lunch in Raiwind tomorrow (Saturday).
According to Dunya News report, Prime Minister will meet Co-Chairperson Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Zardari tomorrow in Raiwind. Former President has also met Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah.
The two major political parties of the country, Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Pakistan People’s Party have, made frequent contacts during the last few days. In the latest event, PM Nawaz Sharif phoned Asif Zardari to invite him for a lunch at Sharif’s residence in Raiwind.
According to the sources, both the leaders will discuss the prevailing political situation of the country.
PPP leader Rehman Malik has warned that the crisis must not get resolved or the situation may lead us all to the path of collision. He said that Asif Zardari can play his role in diffusing the political tension.
Earlier, Mr. Zardari held separate meetings with Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah, Raza Rabbani and Aitezaz Ahsan in Bilawal House, Karachi. All three leaders briefed Co-Chairperson PPP about the recent political crisis in Pakistan and their meetings with the government and opposition parties regarding it.
