A tense calm has returned to quarantined areas in the Liberian capital after a government curfew, which was put in place to contain the spread of the deadly Ebola virus, sparked violent clashes between residents and police. Meanwhile, South Africa has banned all non-nationals travelling from affected countries and tourism across the continent has suffered. And in Central African Republic, residents in Bangui's last Muslim communities keep up protests against European peacekeepers.
