A man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a woman’s home, removed his clothing and crawled into bed with her. The incident occurred on July 22nd in Santa Ana, California.
The suspect, who has been identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Phan, reportedly gained entry into the victim’s home via a window. When the woman woke up, she looked over and saw the underwear-clad man sleeping next to her.
She screamed, which caused Phan to flee. Right before he left, the victim asked who he was, but all she got for a response was an apology.
His identity didn’t remain a mystery for long. Phan left in such a hurry that he forgot to put on his pants. His wallet and cell phone were left behind in the victim’s home.
Phan, who works as a Vietnamese actor, was arrested this past Friday and charged with ‘suspicion of residential burglary’. It’s unclear why it took so long for police to catch up with him.
He is currently being held on $50,000 bail. The victim has spoken to reporters since the incident and claims she’s still afraid to sleep in her own bed.
