A cast of all-stars assembles for Broadway

STORY: The cast of the new Broadway production "It's Only a Play" took a break from rehearsals on Tuesday (August 19) to meet the press.

The show, packed with Tony Award winners, tells the fictional story of playwright Peter Austin, played by Matthew Broderick and was written by theater veteran Terrence McNally.

The comedic play takes place after a new play debuts on Broadway. And Nathan Lane, who plays the best friend to Austin and who is considered a legend of the stage, said the play is very true to life.

"I've been through this - I've been through this many times and it's endlessly fascinating to be, I hope for the audience, to be a fly on the wall in the midst of the event being waiting for really the New York Times review."
