Cat owners have put a spin on traditional cute kitty photos. A trend on social media is making the rounds. It’s called ‘purritos’, which translates to cats wrapped like burritos.
The felines can be bundled in almost anything. Towels, blankets, rugs, old rags or even a long and strong piece of paper will do.
The end result is a cat that's adorably wrapped just like a newborn baby. Usually, the cats' heads are the only parts seen poking out of the wrapping but once in a while a feline's tail protrudes from the bottom of the makeshift burrito.
Some of the swathe jobs are elaborate, as the coverings are folded and tucked in all the right places. Others are a little less complex and require something like clothespins to hold the fabric over the cat’s body.
Twitter users are going nuts over the trend and are posting photos of their own snuggled feline, hoping their image will go viral.
The ‘purrito’ concept doesn’t just pertain to cats. Puppies, bunnies, hedgehogs and even an owl have been photographed wrapped just like a burrito.
