Land of the hill people or the Mizos, Mizoram is a very peaceful and mountainous state of North east India. It is located in the farthest corner of Northeast east India, stuffed in between the neighbouring countries of Myanmar and Bangladesh.

It is worth noting that Mizoram is one of the leading higher literate states of India. The majority of people in Mizoram embrace christian religion, the highest denomination being Presbyterian Church. Mizoram is also known as the "Scotland of the East". Due to its geographic locations, lack of markets and raw materials,Mizoram lags behind economically within India.
