A cobbler at his work mending shoes!! This video shows a roadside cobbler or mochi as said in India reparing a broken slipper. He uses a set of clipper, needle and thread to sew the broken part back to the slipper. It was shot at Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
Cobbling is one of the oldest professions in the world and have been working with shoes for centuries. A shoe cobbler normally repairs shoes focusing mainly on repairing and restoration of shoes. It takes years of training to become a shoe cobbler. However you can access cobblers at ease as they are located in almost every neighboring locality.
