The Wild Pear ripens on the tree in early fall/autumn and the Yellow-throated Martens love climbing up and biting into them! This is an indigenous Uttarakhand / Himalayan species of flowering pear and not a garden cultivated variety. Even the pears are totally unremarkable but the birds and bees love them!
