Swargarohini or 'The ladder to heaven' as seen from Landour. The Pandavas are said to have ascended to heaven from the summit of this peak, at the end of the Mahabharata! This is one of the higher and seldom climbed peaks of Garhwal and is clearly viewed from Landour lying as it does close to Bandarpunch in the Har-ki-dun and Govind Pashu Vihar sanctuary area. One can also see a clear view of the summit of Bandarpunch or White Peak from here.

Srikantha is visible to as is the summit ridge from Swargarohini 1 to 2.

The Managing Director of Wilderness Films India was on Swargarohini in 1990 as part of an Indo-Tibetan Border Pilice Expedition led by S. P. Chamoli and he was on Bandarpunch 2 or Black Peak the following year, in 1991.
