A beautiful Kuchipudi recital by Kumari Sree Veena Mani at Vasuki Auditorium, Lok Kala Manch.

Raagam : Mohanam, this is unique to the kuchipudi repertoire and emphasis Sringara Rasa. The dance portrays a young woman, Vasakasajika Nayik who is deeply in love with Lord Krishna, whom she tries to please and entice in various ways - offering paan, applying chandan, etc. The piece belongs to Madhura Bhakti. The traditional piece is choreographed by Padmabhushan Late Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam.
