As part of the Kathak Festival in April 2014, celebrating 50 years of Kathak Kendra at the Neemrana Fort Palace, a specially created presentation was held of the pervasive aural tapestry of Katha, accentuating the rhythm and percussion base of Kathak. The presentation included tabla, pakhawaj, padhant and sarangi.
The first part was aimed at its traditional beginnings, while the second part explored the journey taken by Kathak to present progressive elements added.
