Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Aug 12 (EFE).- Barça's German keeper Ter Stegen suffered from a back injury during Monday's second training session. The club confirmed the injury early Tuesday morning on its website after the player was examined by the club's medical services. During the next few workouts, Ter Stegen would be given specific recovery work.
Adriano Correia, Neymar da Silva, Marc Bartra and Xavi Hernandez followed a specific recovery workout to recover from their respective injuries, even though the Brazilians and Xavi joined the rest of the team for the morning session.
A total of 18 players from the first team joined coach Luis Enrique's workout. Brand new transfer Thomas Vermaelen worked out with the physiotherapist once again to recover from an injury on his right hamstring picked up during the World Cup.
