Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (August 12) visited Leh-Ladakh region and made his poll pitch in Jammu Kashmir ahead of assembly polls. Modi, who became the first PM to visit Ladakh since the Kargil war of 1999, inaugurated the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar transmission system. The Prime Minister said that his government will do everything to ensure the strength of the region's development.
