Torture could lead spreading anarchy in Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain has appealed to the provincial government and Pakistan Awami Tehreek not to use torture and should avoid to take those steps which could spread anarchy in the country.
Mr. Altaf Hussain said that due to the shaggy condition of Lahore, MQM Coordination Committee decided to provide food and drinking water by KKF for the participants of PAT’s Yaum-e-Shuhda. He also appealed to Lahore’s inhabitants to enthusiastically participate in Yaum-e-Shuhda.
He also thanked to the provincial government for removing containers and hurdles and appealed to the government to remove fences from the street passing through to the house of Dr Tahirul Qadri and Minhajul Quran. He also directed to his party workers to reach Lahore to help distributing food and edibles among the participants of Yaum-e-Shuhda.
MQM Chief condoled to Dr Tahirul Qadri and bereaved families for their irreparable losses and expressed his deep grief over the killing of PAT workers. He also expressed his grief over the deaths of policemen in the torture incidents.
He suggested not taking such steps which could ignite the situation and would lead the country towards more misery. He also said that Pakistan army engaged in North Waziristan fighting against the terrorists and extremists, and kept sacrificing their lives and any political turmoil could result dis-stability.
