George Clooney gets one step closer to tying the knot.

The actor and his fiancée Amal Alamuddin have reportedly registered for their marriage in London.

The British Daily Mirror published a photo of their banns at Chelsea Town Hall, a legal notice which was on display for anyone to see, and lists the wedding's location as Italy.

The notice of the couple's intention to marry must be displayed in public for 16 days before they are allowed to wed, according to the newspaper's website.

A receptionist at Chelsea Town Hall said the notice has now been taken down because it no longer needed to be legally displayed.

Clooney has been dating Alamuddin since October and announced their engagement in April.
