Vidya Balan unveiled the SmartCane device for the visually impaired at an event held in Mumbai on Tuesday. The actress distributed SmartCane and PLexTalk Vachak, two innovative and affordable aids to assist the visually impaired, to 50 students. The former helps in detecting presence of objects above the knee level and hanging obstacles through sensors. Vidya looked lovely as always. She sported a black anarkali suit with some chunky jewellery.
