They're searching for survivors, but so far they've found more dead than alive.
Rescue teams have been working around the clock since arriving at the village of Ambegaon.
They're hoping to find up to 200 people believed buried in the sea of mud and debris delivered by a landslide that struck on Wednesday.
Teams are using earth movers to negotiate the mud that swallowed more than 150 people and dozens of homes.

"They have recovered; so far, eight alive persons have been rescued and 25 bodies have been recovered - so that is the situation."
