Inside, the television station continued to broadcast, but the radio station went silent.
Earlier an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at the home of the Hamas leader in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh. There were no reports of casualties there but 11 people were killed in another strike on a house in the Bureij refugee camp in Gaza City.
More than one thousand Palestinians and dozens of Israeli soldiers have been killed in the
