Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday opposed the government’s decision to handover Islamabad to the army for three months, announcing that the party will challenge the decision in the Supreme Court, Dunya News reported.
PTI’s core committee also reviewed the arrangements made for its ‘Azaadi March’ to Islamabad scheduled for August 14.
In the statement issued to the media, it was said that the decision to call army to takeover Islamabad’s control is not correct in any way.
PTI said that the government summoning the army to control Islamabad exhibits government’s failure, alleging that the government is taking all these steps to hide the alleged rigging in general elections in 2013.
