Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Head Maulana Siraj ul Haq has said that his party endorses PTI’s demand of electoral reforms in Pakistan. He made it clear that Long March is PTI’s decision only. "JI endorses PTI’s demand of electoral reforms", said Siraj ul Haq.
While addressing a gathering in Mansoora, Lahore, today (Thursday) Siraj ul Haq assured Pakistani nation that Martial Law will never be imposed in Pakistan again. He said that a political party has announced a protest on 14th of August and it is the democratic right of the party to stage the protest. JI Head advised Government of Pakistan to facilitate the protesters and cooperate with PTI in this regard.
Siraj ul Haq bitterly criticized the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders recent statements about the "hidden commitments" made in the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
