Thai army rangers have discovered some 103 migrants locked inside a cramped, rented house on the country’s border with Cambodia

They are believed to have been illegally brought over from Cambodia.

The Thai junta has set up several one-stop service centres in Thailand to facilitate the legalisation of migrant workers.

Nine of the 103 discovered had applied for work permits through this system.

However, not all Cambodians are aware of this system and some are lured into paying to enter the country illegally.
