The warm sun
The green trees
The bluest skies
All disappear
When I close my eyes
And realize
That you're not here
My world just slips away;
I think I see you
and yet I know it's only my mind
Playing tricks on me
Once more,
I wait for the day
I see you again,
So I can breathe again
Live again
Just be again
Happy as ever
From your presence
Till daylight fades away
Then I will have to let you
Go again
Until tomorrow brings
Another day.
