My deepest fear is not one of death
but one of a life lived full of regret
hopes that slipped away
dreams that will never see the light of day
emptiness on the inside is by far the worst feeling of all;
the pain of knowing I could have but instead I did nothing at all
opprotunities I let pass
love that slipped away
a life that could have been mine
instead alone with a heart depraved
My deepest fear is not one of death
but one of being empty, alone, by myself.
