Decades before your birth
I flooded the city with men
Turning about on rotten sticks
I did it for me
I knew your father wanted me in a hole
Now I'm alone
I wish I didn't eat your apple
Before your birth
I wish I built castles in air
My clay molds no more
If I could swim to the deepest of oceans
I would visit the mermaid
Perhaps be her groom
My heavy arms swim no more
Though I jumped
I never got to fly
I would have brought the clouds
Time took my throne
And time is coming for yours
Prints on mud never leave
Stamp your foot
While it rains
