STORY: Video captured twin tornadoes touching down in Wakefield, Nebraska on Monday.

NBC News reported a severe storm system hit parts of eastern Nebraska, causing multiple tornadoes to hit the area.

Local media reported twin tornadoes directly hit the town of Pilger.

NBC News reported at least one person was killed as a result of the storm and more than a dozen people were taken to hospital with injuries.
