Heather Marie Mortimer - Love And Torment

And did you love me on those nights?
When heaven opened to pour our desires
And inspired these tender and wrathful fights
Not a cloud to cover what He may conspire.

And here in torment I lay down my soul complete
That you may love me across the infinite lifetimes
And not with her or heaven would I need compete
If you would lead me in my purest crimes.

You are a wanton pleasure of ill-deeded innocence
And you twist in every turn of my veins
And eternity is my recompense
Tho may it be held under fiery reigns.

And this is how I love you so:
That for your torture, thru hell I go.
