A dream to fill a life
void developing dream.

Life is boring
dull worthless
without purpose.
Reason destination.
Merely seen.
Seldom savoured.

Return attempt heart’s purpose.
Where felt mind wavering
incapable in controlling life's
work worsening situation.
Watched pain proliferating
in lesser loved cared for.

Knowing how hard. It is.
When we can do nothing.
Seen. So much. Pain palpitating.
It hurts more merciless now.
Than it ever did.

Kaleidoscopic fading faces.
Sediment sentiment.
Problems have not.
Made face fret stone.
Wearily worrying at bitterness.
Like a dog at a bone.

Did. Carrying choking chip
upon sore shoulders.
To drown
extant whole world in.
Nor broken yet.

Although always
felt broken.
Rose through
Adversity.
Like disembodied
mist
rising off
morning rocks.

It rained
floods floored us.
Washed feet
out beneath us.
Beat us
ever into welcoming mud.

In afflicted after-math
shaken sun
shines weakly through
before gathers strength
to shine bright new rays
assuring hope upon us.

Refugees raise flagellated faces
ever struggling again.
Summoning summer sun.
Survivors hoping holding light
to bathe battered bodies in.

Refugees feel faintly
to learn to rely
upon Stygian strengths.
Sealing a team a partnership.
In love life lusting facing.
All oppressive odds uncountered.

Moments misanthropic melancholy
failure frustrating fortitude.
May overwhelm mulled multitudes.
Together. Together we endure.
Alone. Alone we wither.
