DON’T LET ME LET YOU GO
BY: AMANDA JOHNSON
SHE CLOSES HER EYES AND TRIES TO FORGET
WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WITHOUT HIM THERE
HER HEARTS HURTING, SHES FILLED WITH REGRET
ALL SHE WANTS IS TO HAVE HIM NEAR
AS SHE WHISPERS IN THE DARK
THE WORDS LINGERED ON HER LIPS
AND ON HER HEART IT LEFT A MARK
IT SENT CHILLS OUT OF HER FINGERTIPS
I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART
I NEVER WANTED YOU TO GO
WHEN YOU LEFT MY WORLD FELL APART
I MEANT YES WHEN I SAID NO
I PUSHED YOU AWAY
WHEN I NEEDED YOU CLOSE
BABY I LOVE YOU SO DON’T LET ME LET YOU GO
SHE WALKS AROUND HER EMPTY LIFE
SHE’S COLD OUTSIDE, SO NUMB INSIDE
SHE CRIES OUT, BUT NO ONE CAN HEAR HER
COME BACK TO ME, LET’S MAKE THIS RIGHT
I DON’T THINK I CAN MAKE IT WITHOUT YOU ONE MORE NIGHT
