My daughter she is brave enough to stand up for her beliefs
Who knows her voice is strong enough for all to hear her speak
Her will to get her through this life with dignity and pride
A heart so pure and loving will surely be her guide.

The spirit of a thousand angels sent to me my son
Whose energy and laughter is instilled in everyone
I see in him the man to come and know that he'll be great
In any path in life he chooses for it will be his fate.

I wish for you to see in life that there is always more
Than any gift that you can buy in any given store
From an ugly caterpillar to a butterfly transforms
Skies alit with rainbows can be found at the end of storms

I will hold your hand and keep you close until the day has come
To set you free into the world the person you've become
You are yourself, so free your mind of all that you may fear
And always know throughout your path that I am always near

May the both of you grow in life to know that you've become
The very best of yourselves, to know that you're the one
The voices of our present and the guiders of tomorrow
I shall always walk beside you; never shall you follow...
