I've painted chevrons on the road leading to me
I've written poems in the clouds hoping you'd see
I've worn your favourite colour as a sign
I've been daydreaming, hoping you'd be mine
But I don't think you see me
What else could I possibly do?
Am I not good enough for the
love I want? Am I not good
enough for you?
I'd colour the city
Paint every poem
Sacrifice my dreams
I'd do anything
I've painted chevrons on the road leading to me
But you're watching the traffic lights. You don't see me
I've worn your favourite colour, daydreaming through time
But you're eyes never meet mine, you don't read my signs
