The steel bars
are eaten by salt
rust is a fading
memory
the wooden frame
of the window turns
hollow
the termites are
disappointments
what then lasts forever?
your love? your heart?
it settles for a stroke
in just one stroke of
neglect of a mistake
and so?
take note, nothing,
nothing lasts forever
your soul? do you
still worry?
a bush that burns
a flame in flames
