When I was a boy, life was simple,
television was in black and white; just like
the morning and evening newspapers were.
Both clear concise and to the point. They covered
local fires and cats stuck in the trees,
the war in Korea or where the Queen or Pope
were visiting that week.
But the major difference between then and now….
When I was a boy, they didn’t make up the News,
they only reported it.
