Tom Petty made a great big deal,
about not selling out,
BUT, type his name on-line today,
to see what he's about.

I hope that it's not really Tom,
this life long fan paid many bucks,
to buy the missing disc today,
... just to feel wronged!

(Yes, I could have made that rhyme!) .

The last D.J. won't let me play,
the music that I bought,
... unless I register to be a number,
... don't count on this one bending over.

After Neil Young - - -
I guess everyone, decided on the money,
and allowed their tunes to be abused,
... to sell everything, to hell and back,
but, I was proud that one held out,
... and now, I feel sold as well.

So, maybe you can see,
that it wasn't good for me,
- - - to save for weeks,
- - - to still believe,
and to end up getting nothing,
except a rotten, petty, feeling.
