She can be a bully,
She can be a brat,
Commanding and lying
Things I didn’t know

She can be greedy
She can be arrogant
Not paying, but demanding
Things I didn’t know

We were together
Yet, I never saw
Her behaviour to her friends
The things I didn’t know

Yesterday
I heard them talk
About things she did say
I took a walk

When she was with me
Did she wear a mask?
Or did she show me
Some unknown part?

I have missed her
I would’ve kissed her
But now I say: Oh
The things I didn’t know

Perhaps I was lucky
Perhaps I was wrong
I remain hurt
by things I didn’t know
