I’m not a fool, I’m not a fool
I’m not a fool today.
I woke up knowing, I am right
My focus must not stray.
Today before I set to print
I know that I should wait
or those I want to love my work
will see how quick I take the bait
If I go back and see a flaw,
deleting should remove it
I’ll pull my magic Phd
from my magic hat to prove it.
Look you fool, I’m clever
You’re a dunce, a dunderheid.
Your mind’s a mushy mushroom
While mine’s a Wonderseed.
For I have learned new genres
And have purged old-fashioned sin
Proved that songs and Ads aren’t poems,
If I’m right, I guess I win.
Yes the new way is the true way
(though some makes an awful din)
I’ll throw my Mozarts in the midden
And Beethovens in the bin.
