Glaedr the poet - They Kidnapped and Slaughtered My Friend

From my home they stole a friend
out of a pasture of endless grass
Little did she know her life would end
after an experience of torture soon to pass
loaded into a truck with forty others was she
pregnant, aggressive, old, and young they all were
many stuggled to stand, slipping on their own pee
she could do nothing as a stallion raped her
twenty-eight hours she went without food or water
twenty-eight hours she went without a bed
It was then she arrived at the house of slaughter
though many around her were already trampled and dead
The doors were opened she ran from that hell
Only to come to a stop at the end of a hall
Excrutiating pain: from what, she could not tell
But it wasn't enough to make her fall
Instead she thrashes about her tomb
For that is what the room will soon be
a second and third shot secure her doom
So begins her journey to the blood sea
They chain her from a ceiling of a blood-stained cave
with a flourish, they slash her flesh
Blood rushes to the floor creating a new wave
Blood that is warm, thick, and fresh
After commiting many other horrors unheard of
processing and shipment bring my friend to her fate
A great friend once filled with affection and love
is now the main course upon a foreigner's plate

-This poem is an attribute to those who have had a horse stolen and sold to slaughter
