I saw you walking away from me,
I know it was only a dream,
It still brung a tear to my eye,
Ripped right through the seems.
Now my minds in pieces,
I watch you through the mist,
Thrashing out on the walls,
If only I had an iron fist.
Thoughts are running through my head,
Colliding over you,
All these things could happen to me,
And all these things because of you.
Will I break down and cry,
Or decide to run and hide,
Death cannot make me die,
You decide between truth and lie.
I hear thunder,
And yet see no rain,
Maybe the floods will come,
Along with the pain.
The pain never stopped, although it never started,
When will I be?
Forever dis-hearted.
