Hey!
Charmer of hearts!
Demands unreasonable,
Inflexible and impracticable
Incessantly you raise
Like a roguish wasp
In single-minded devotion;
And make everything an issue
through adamant postures!

Nearest to impossible
To torpedo your resolve!
If at all we succeed
In shunting to another track
Lo..!
It too ends up in yet another
Irreversible demand
That makes us wonder-
' The previous is better much
Than the present one! '

Fervent prayers we dispatch
Heavenwards
Or stoop low to flex muscles;
And tear you away
Amidst your kicks and howls!

Most of the times
Success is your watchword!
Defeat is our dear fate!
