The muse of fire
came from the bush that, burning
hot,
had startled him, while turning
to inquire
what
induced the flame
to burn without consuming.
“How odd, ”
he thought, without assuming
it was the Name
of God.

A voice declared:
“I am, indeed, I am,
and you,
a shepherd of the lamb,
must be prepared,
to do
My bidding, you
must teach the world My law.”
He could,
explaining what he saw,
his point of view,
and would.

The bush he saw,
the muse within the flame
that spoke,
revealed to him the Name,
and he in awe
awoke.
