Even while you were sleeping
I loved looking at you the whole day
You kept my heart from beating

You kept staring into my eyes
My heart just flew
Your gentle green eyes amazed me
I couldn't help but stare back at you

Why does God put you so far away
From the people you care about most
You are everything i want
Your so far away but yet so close

I dont know if i should thank you or what
Its been a while since i felt so smitten
I've been down and so numb for months
Not one poem was written
