A band is playing at the hall with flickering lights
Laughters and mocks are heard among great knights,
Exchanging stories of their own lives
And sharing their dreams and dirty deeds they made and surpassed.

Food, wine, music and some good men singing
I appreciate this kind of consolation and sharing,
That after a hard drill, so with tough days, reward comes
Forgetting what each has gained and done!

The night went deeper, so with the fun
The band is wilder and grows louder and heavier,
I saw one man, tipsy and laughing
Heard him say, ' Hey, Pal, we won the battle.'
Minutes passed, he cries like that of a child which seem he has been grabbed by someone his rattle.

There is a cry behind each laugh
I can see at every eyes...
A cry behind a laugh, a laugh behind a cry,
Anyone has it, true an emotional mask!
