Shes the southern belle you'll learn to miss,
Sweet magnolia blossom, scent in the wind.
So much sweeter than a lovers kiss,
Though she may try once, and again.
Emerald leaves so regal and fair,
Hold the blossoms pearl white face.
And their scent is carried on the air,
Bringing joy to a different place.
Statuesque and beautiful, and smelling heavenly,
They grace the landscape of southern states,
Swaying always so graciously.
Their beauty not open to debate.
Gentle giants swaying in the breeze,
Southern treasures each and all.
Not once have they ever failed to please,
We should pray they never fall.
