In honor of St. Patrick's Day, the guys look to the Emerald Isle for this week's food exploration -- black pudding. This traditional breakfast treat in both Ireland and the UK is also commonly known as blood sausage and is exactly what it sounds like... sausage... made of blood. While a variation of this crumbly, milky, meaty treat can be found in many cultures around the world, the Irish kind is one of the most iconic in the western world. We hear it goes well with some Guinness!

We all tell stories about vampires drinking blood as if were a totally foreign concept to eat the goopy liquid of life, but blood is a component of many delicacies around the world. Most notably (since it's St. Patrick's Day) is blood sausage, these days hailing from the Emerald Isle aka Ireland (and England, Scotland, and Wales too... fine). This sausage is made by taking pig's blood and filling up sausages with a combination of onions, spices, herbs, grains, and sometimes meat. These days, dried blood is a more common ingredient since there's less risk of it going sour. Then you cook it, like any other sausage, slice it up and serve it with some eggs, bacon, and other breakfast goodies. Top with a glass of OJ and or some strong coffee and you're ready for work. Delicious or questionable?

Have you ever tried black pudding? Would you want to try it? What's the grossest food you've ever tried? What should Michael and Chris explore next? Let us know in the comments!
