A girl became a mother fast,
And donned the robe of duty-love,
Performing it in beauteous style,
And clinched a special place in life.

A mother’s role, none can replace;
A mother good is angelic;
A mother makes the family whole,
And keeps the human race aglow.

You gave us life, a matchless gift;
You gave us love, unrequited;
You gave us care, without a fee;
You made us what, we are today.

Dear mom, you toiled all life for us,
And cooked and reared, advising well;
The love bestowed on children tells,
‘You made our home, a paradise! ’

‘A Happy Mother’s Day, dear Mom!
May God bless you with life, less glum.’
