In weakness and in fear,
In doubt and trembling
Like a lost child
With an heavy heart,
In humility,
In hope for my salvation
I came to Thee...
I came to encounter thee,
God Almighty!
Behind thy church's stone,
On my knees I fell
Among the trees in forest deep,
My wounded soul to thee I wept.
Thou understood my prayer,
Thou understood my woe
And in thy Grace Divine,
Thou received this soul of mine;
Upon my heart,
Thy mystic presence...Light!
Lost soul, by guiding light I found.
With Everlasting Love Divine,
My mortal human weakness thou replaced;
And with such radiance my heart fulfilled,
Beyond my knowing reaches
Mesmerized by a miracle I felt,
Overflowing sacredly upon the World
With abundance in sharing,
Spreading Divine on paths by evil touched.
And I raised and walked
With a confidence I did not have,
In smile my joyful spirit, while humiliated,
Devoted loving, while despised I have been;
Wide wings of hope I felt
Soaring high and free
Just like a dove;
Faithfully...I believed!
And all my questions,
In thy sacred book
Thou answered them God!
I, then…
Loved with a Love
Beyond reason or judgement,
Completely, selflessly,
To the point of vanishing…
Till thy Brightness,
Brought me closer to Thee...
God Almighty!
