my mouth
my words
my thoughts
are all bad for me

shouldnt i be allowed to talk
to think
to even breath

you say im not the girl i once was
and thats true
im not the same as yesterday

ive grown
ive lived
ive even tried to breath

and while parts of that girl
will always be within me
she soon will be just a memory

as i have grown
i have lived
and now i can see
i am stronger
than the girl i used to be
