Rommel Laride - The Twisted Lands

We only see these things differently,

But we are watching them from same distance,

Some disregard yet others intently,

Most don’t mind, others wished to catch a glance.

We now value things with envy and lust,

We care, we say, but did we mind to call?

We think about things far ahead of us,

Are we mindful or are we just mind-full?

We create a null void within ourselves,

It has killed every child that once in you,

Forgot about the moon, fairies and elves,

Too worried on job and the rent is due.

We’re dying by stabbing with our own hands,

Why don’t we start feeding the twisted lands?
